It didn't start as a business plan. It started as a favor for a friend who had just opened a dental practice and needed marketing he could trust. After researching agency after agency, one thing became obvious. The industry was full of companies selling reports that looked impressive but couldn't answer a basic question — which marketing dollars were actually bringing in patients.
Solving that one problem, for that one friend, became the foundation of Dentist Nerds.
Two Backgrounds, One Approach
Shawn brings a strong analytics background to the work, with experience leading team analytics, ROI tracking, and global analytics at Fortune 500 companies in Silicon Valley, where measurement and accountability shape decision-making. That same discipline now shapes how Dentist Nerds approaches dental marketing. Amin brings over 12 years of marketing and business growth experience, most recently at the largest real estate and insurance marketing company in the country, where he managed strategy for more than 5,000 clients.
Together, those two perspectives shape how we approach dentistry — data systems built to actually measure what works, paired with marketing strategy informed by real experience across competitive industries.
